ARGENTIUM SILVER FOSSIL CORAL FREEFORM PENDANT

130.00

This beautiful and bold pendant necklace celebrates the best of the seasons, with a gorgeous piece of fossil corral dangling on a 24" sterling silver rolo chain with freeform argentium silver detailing.

Argentium is a slow-tarnishing modern sterling silver alloy (still containing 92.5% silver). The traditional alloy is modified by replacing some of the copper with germanium, which inhibits tarnishing.

Fossil coral is a natural gemstone formed by ancient corals. As it forms, the fossil remains are replaced with agate (a form of naturally occurring chalcedony), and the entire process can take up to 20 million years. It carries many metaphysical beliefs, as a grounding stone that is good for bringing about change. The Gauls wore it as a protective stone
